Light bulb hitting kitchen tile
Tense like horse hairs strung in a bow
Drawn slowly across wires
Slouching towards intentions
I grovel at candid statues
Rescued from marble
When they punch a mirror the world breaks with it
They say the medication takes the edge off and i
know they're right
But a part of me wants to see how fat my brain can
swell before popping it like a balloon
Astrophil waited years for stella
And im waiting too
For years to wash over me and leave thinner welts
Good or bad they prevent the sun from ever seeing
my body
When theres clouds the size of city hall i know
how profound ramblings and coffee can be
They carry the significance of a guernica
And gesture instead of pose

The punk scene needs more of this. There are obvious comparisons to be had with Nausea and Sacrilege, but Flower stands on their own (and alone, currently) with this caustic, crusty, meaningful punk. Buy the LP/shirt bundle - it's a good price and you're supporting a good scene. X Wild Alaskan Salmonella X
On their ferocious self-titled debut, the Australian punks pit d-beat percussion against gnarled, metallic melodies. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 3, 2024

If this came through your feed, you're probably like "Way to go dumbass... You didn't have this shit already??" 😂🤣
I'll have you know I am buying this album once again (for like, what? the 4th time??) to pick up the new sick "sea blue gel" vinyl variant of this modern classic. Jfc Earache Records still knows how to grab my money, even after all these years haha. Have a feeling "Hiss" will be near the top of my Albums of the Decade list when all is said and done. What an absolute masterpiece. bcb723
